  • Does MYREM has an in-house team or is it a marketplace?
    MYREM is built with a vision to provide quality service. To maintain high standards, quality, and service level commitment to our customers. We train our staff not just on packing standards but also on better customer handling and satisfaction. It is not a marketplace.
  • How does MYREM control commercials (price)?
    We make sure that prices are well defined with internal rate cards made as per trends. Our pricing team experts are the best in the market with rich experience to not just be redundant in removing extra costs but to enrich service experience at a minimum chargeable rate.

  • How are fragile or valuable items handled?
    Fragile and valuable items are typically packed using specialized materials like bubble wrap and protective crates with frazil trapes to handle frazil items delicately. Inform the movers about any delicate items to ensure proper handling. Check out the packing image for your reference.
  • Does MYREM provide free dismantling and assembling?
    Yes, we do provide complimentary one-time dismantling and assembling services for any item which is easily dismantlable and assemblable. However, any expert technician scope of work eg: AC fitting, or Geyser fitting, etc can be arranged with a defined rate card of services from our end. Please note we charge you only for the labor and service costs. However, any charges related to extra material used like copper wire, gas refueling, wiring, piping, etc. will be charged basis the material and transportation cost.
  • I have DTH on the terrace, will the MYREM crew dismantle my DTH/Appliance outside the home?
    All items which are easily accessible by the crew and inside premises for the packing site will be dismantled and assembled basis the point mentioned above. However, it would be really appreciate to inform the said requirement during the booking time with confirmation from the team.
  • Can I pack the items myself and you can move only?
    We certainly can move the product for you. However, we would suggest you leave the work to the MYREM professional on not just packing but also stacking goods inside the packed layer to avoid any further damage.
  • Do I need to be present during the packing and moving process?
    While your presence is not always required, it's recommended to be present or assign someone on your behalf during packing and loading to provide instructions and oversee the process. This also involves your signature for the further documentation process.
  • How can I prepare for a smooth moving day?
    Take a necessary permission from your society, building owner, security guards, others. Inform the house maid, LPG distributor and your rental furniture SPOC. Check with your relationship manager on vehicle type and check if there is no restriction for vehicle to reach your gate, share exact address and location with any last minute changes. Keep your clothes, utensils, other segregated, clean and dry to immediately start packing. Defrost your fridge and also remove excess water from water purifier and washing machine. Get your ACs and other appliance dismantled prior if service is not availed from MYREM team.
  • How far in advance should I book packers and movers?
    It's recommended to book your movers at least a few weeks in advance, especially during peak moving seasons. This way you can also avoid peak time charges and we can plan your relocation in much better way.
  • What if there's a delay in the delivery of my belongings?
    We keep our TAT practical and intact as a part of our service offering. 99.5% of our shipments till date is delivered within promised date of delivery. However if there is any challenge to make delivery within promised date, our expert time analysis the situation prior and inform you with all details and will make sure corrective steps are taken.
  • How I track my goods?
    You will receive the tracking details from our end every alternative 3 days during the transit to keep you updated with current status of shipment.
  • I don't have insurance of car, can I still move my car?
    Insurance is mandatory for the movement of a car relocation. In case you are willing to avail MYREM transit Insurance, first-party insurance is even mandatory and applicable during transit of the vehicle via car carrier. As per the Indian government rules, it is crime to drive a car without an insurance policy. Therefore to avoid any RTO issue or the Police of the state during checking, we recommend car insurance as a mandatory document.
  • Do packers and movers provide insurance for my belongings?
    We provide our customers with a Comprehensive Insurance Policy from the top-notch company which covers potential damages for end to end process of relocation, starting from our team reaching your location to the team delivering the goods. Please note these charges are extra and refer to your quotation for assistance or discuss with your move manager.
  • When will my Insurance get activated?
    Your Insurance is valid from the time, our MYREM crew reaches the packing site, however, the policy gets activated once the Lorry Receipt (a formal document referring to the relocation is in progress) is generated with reference.
  • How is the house item insurance values decided?
    Insurance value is decided basis on the cumulative amount of all itemized values shifted during the relocation. It is mandatory to declare the item-wise value of every item shifted. Any item which is above INR 5000 worth of value shall be declared in the inventory list even packed inside the box. The goods value is calculated as per the current year depreciated value from the date of purchase. As a standard form in the market, 20% of the proportional depreciated value will be the calculated year on year. Eg: A refrigerator bought in the year 2020 of May at 50,000 will have value till May 22 2022 at INR 32,000.
  • What all items are not covered in Insurance?
    As per the standard procedure of Insurance copy any expensive, art craft, gold, etc. are not covered under the insurance policy. Plants carried during the transit are sole risk of owners.
  • What is the minimum insurance value to be declared?
    A minimum complete sum insurance worth of INR 50,000 shall be declared for any entire shifting.
  • What are the documents required for Insurance claim process?
    Insurance Policy Claim is a long process and often ignorable by most of the packers and movers. However, with our policy, you get coverage easily accessible and claimable. We take the process ahead with a minimal document requirement to process the claim.
  • Does MYREM Insurance Policy Cover missing items?
    Yes, it does. However, the missing items cases are very rare, thanks to our standard procedure.
  • How will my car be moved?
    Car is moved by certified and verified car relocation experts only at MYREM. The car is transported dedicated in a Car Container on a shared load basis. Our expert driver will pick up the car from your house after inspection and the car will be loaded in the car carrier and will be delivered to your doorsteps similarly at the destination location.
  • Should I remove my car fast tag before moving?
    Yes, it is mandatory to remove the fast tag or disable the fast tag to avoid any wallet deduction when the car carrier passes the multiple tool both.
  • Do I need to fuel up my car before the team comes?
    Yes, you are required to fuel up the car to at least 30-40% of the fuel tank to drive to a nearby car loading point which is mostly outside city premises (150-200 km driving of car will be done). Excessive fuel is removed during the loading of the vehicle in a car carrier to avoid any high risk of fire therefore avoid filling up full tank.
  • Does MYREM provide Car Insurance?
    Yes, MYREM helps you with Car Transit Insurance which covers cars only during transit.
  • I have my car accessories in the car and also have a suitcase to be transported. Will you be able to move that as well?
    During the transportation of the car, we request the customer to remove all the additional accessories from the car. While transiting the car there will be multiple touch points and for the safety of items, we recommend you avoid any such items inside. We don't carry any additional luggage inside the car. You need to send it separately for two main reasons. The first one is the safety of goods and the second one is the weight of the car when loaded inside the car container and outside the car container.
  • What are the documents required for car relocation?
    Below are the documents mandatorily required for your car relocation: 1. RC COPY 2. Driving License of Owner or any valid ID card. 3. PUC (Pollution Check Certificate) from the authorized center. 4. Valid Insurance copy. *Original documents are not required for car relocation. Just a xerox or picture of the document is required.
  • Do you relocate a dog?
    Yes. We are there for carrying and taking care of any kind of pet. We understand the attachment one has while relocating and we take care of all necessary precautions and documents process for the relocation.
  • What are mode of pet transfer?
    Internationally Pets are moved via Flight Carriers Where's within country relocation is done via personal vehicle (cars), trains or even via flights and charges based on economics.
